Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Molwee is a local-first app for saving links from other apps and websites. This policy explains what information is processed today, what stays on your device, and how we will handle future optional sync or archive features if they are introduced.
2. Data We Collect Today
Molwee currently collects anonymous product analytics through Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and where it fails. This can include:
- App opens
- Bookmark saved, opened, and deleted events
- Feature usage such as filters, search, and widget interactions
- Crash and non-fatal error diagnostics through Firebase Crashlytics
These analytics are used to improve the product. They are not used for advertising or user profiling.
3. Data We Do Not Collect Today
Molwee does not require an account to start, and today we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or payment details inside the app.
- No sign-up is required for the current core experience
- Your saved URLs are not sent to Molwee-operated servers today
- Your bookmarks are not sold or shared for advertising purposes
4. Local Storage
Today, bookmarks, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and app configuration are stored locally on your device. Removing the app removes this local data from the device unless the operating system keeps a temporary backup outside our control.
5. Third-Party Services
Molwee currently uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics

6. Future Optional Sync and Archive Features
Molwee may introduce optional paid features such as account-based sync, backup, archive storage, or smarter search. If that happens, this policy will be updated before those features launch. Those features will be opt-in, and the current core saving experience will not silently become a required account flow.
7. Children
Molwee is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a future account-based feature, contact us and we will investigate.
8. Changes
We may update this page as Molwee evolves. The current version will always be published here with a revised date.
